6.2’s Fairtrade Trade Fair
On Thursday 10th February, to conclude our work on Fairtrade, 6.2 worked in 6 groups of our choosing to create and make a new edible treat! We had to find/amend the recipe, provide the ingredients and equipment then bake it with only minimal help from our teachers. We also enjoyed preparing a stand, which included posters, logos and leaflets, as well as showing off our topic books. In the afternoon, we invited 5.1 to look at our new Fairtrade products, aiming to impress our guests and persuade them to vote for us! It was a lively afternoon, after a busy morning cooking. Everyone worked so well together to create their amazing brownies, delicious truffles and adorable gingerbread men!
