Dahlicious Dress Up Day
The 13th September was the 100th anniversary of the birth of Roald Dahl.  Queen Edith students celebrated by dressing up as a character from one of his books, or wore Dahl’s favourite colour – yummy yellow!  We all brought in 50p to help raise money for some new books for our library. Our classes had a number of different activities going on – from quizzes to inventing whizzy chocolate bars, making BFG ears, learning the Oompa Loompa dance and creating our own aspirational dream jars – we all had a wonderful day! KS2 enjoyed singing songs from the two musicals in the West End based on Roald Dahl’s books and we had a closer look at the amazing costumes.
